Transcript
All right, let’s head over to meet Hunter. Hunter is in his senior year at Kennesaw State and is majoring in construction management. He’s gonna talk to us about some of the amazing academic programs available here at KSU. Hunter, walk us through the academic construction going on.
– Thanks, Alex. Hey everyone and hooty hoo. I’m a senior here at Kennesaw State University studying construction management. My journey in becoming an Owl began the first semester of my junior year when I transferred here to pursue my degree. From the moment I stepped into the construction management department, my classmates, professors and the KSU community made me feel so welcome. I truly enjoyed feeling like an important part of the Owl family. This leads to more engaging classroom sessions where we’re not only learning material from our textbooks, but from the hands on real world experiences within our industry. In addition to the awesome classroom environment at KSU, students are encouraged to get involved with clubs, student competition teams, and their own independent interest. I’ve been involved with Sigma Lambda Chi, the international construction honor society and the construction student competition teams here on campus. KSU’s investment in students goes far beyond the classroom. During my time here, I’ve gotten to meet with some of the best companies in the industry at career fairs, company sponsored events, industry discussion panels, and many more. At KSU, they truly bring the industry to you. That’s been my life and experiences as a construction management major here at Kennesaw State. But no matter what path you choose, KSU has the degree program for you with over 150 degree programs and majors in the arts, STEM fields, nursing, cybersecurity, business, and many more, the options are truly endless. Hey Alex, how’s that for a buildup?
– Wow, that’s incredible Hunter. I’m excited to see what you construct in your near future. Kennesaw State has more than just a diverse population and community. They have diversity within their program offerings. This university understands that no two students are alike and that’s exactly how they’ve structured their degree options. Thank you, Hunter, that was perfect.
