What’s really unique is each room comes fully furnished, so we’re able to move around the furniture, to make what we want of it.
Hey everyone. My name is Aidan. I’m a sophomore here at the University of Portland. And today I’m going to take you inside my residence hall, Christie Hall. Let’s go to take a look.
Let’s head inside.
So, welcome to my room. Right now, we’re in one of Christie Hall’s double rooms. I have one roommate in here with me, and as you can see, we configured the room into how we wanted it. What’s really unique is each room comes fully furnished so we’re able to move around the furniture to make what we want of it. This is our home for nine months, so we get to make the best of it.
And as you can see, my roommate chose to have his bed lofted so he could put his desk there. I, however, did not want my bed lofted. And so I had I got to keep it down, and put my desk next to it. What I really like about UP’s residence halls is that every room has a sink. So Christie Hall, we have singles, doubles and triples here, and each room comes fully furnished with a sink and it’s great.
We also have really cool lounge spaces available to students. Our basement, we have a TV lounge, couches, we have pool tables, we have a air hockey table. And it’s a really great space, especially with our proximity to our academic buildings to come back to our hall for a break, spend some time with the guys from the hall and really build our community.
So, this is my room in Christie. I hope you guys enjoyed your visit. So you guys later.
