Transcript
Now we’re taking a look at all of the wonderful things Trey has been a part of here on campus. He’s a sophomore here at Kennesaw State, majoring in media and entertainment. Trey is gonna give us a really great overall picture of what campus life means to him. We’re ready for you Trey. It’s all yours.
– Alex, thank you boss. I appreciate you. Growing up in Atlanta, I knew that I wanted to be moderately close to home but at the same time, I wanted a fresh new environment. After my tour of Kennesaw State, my choice became a no brainer. The overall aesthetic of KSU campus was electrifying. I thought to myself, look at this amazing place and all the possibilities. It wasn’t until my second semester of my freshman year that I realized my passion for on-camera storytelling. The connections I made with new people around campus and in my department really helped me find my way. Kennesaw State has interaction at its core. I spend a lot of time with friends having fun and playing sports on the campus green and the state-of-the-art student rec center. There’s something about the campus life here that makes you feel connected. The courses I’ve taken really helped me advance personally, and I know they’ll help me professionally. I made a lot of lasting friendships, both through classes and the fun interactive events on campus that have added to my experience and have helped shape the person I am today. With increased knowledge and experiences, I’ll continue to learn from the media and entertainment program here at KSU. In the future, I’ll be able to interact with more on camera opportunities. I look forward to many more possibilities to share with my peers that help push me towards the career of my dreams. Thank you, and keep being perfect Alex.
– I appreciate that Trey. I have to say, your experience coming to KSU and learning amongst your peers is fascinating. Creating connections with other students and faculty members and taking advantage of the organizations here on campus is what truly makes for an all inclusive college experience. Trey, keep pushing forward and you will get your shot. Take care and thanks again.
