Alright, everyone get ready to meet Milo. Milo is no stranger to CCD. Starting as a concurrent enrollment student Milo made the decision to return and complete a degree so without further ado, let’s hear Milo’s story.

– Thank you, Alex, for the introduction. I began attending CCD when I was a junior in high school as a concurrent enrollment student. When it came time for me to choose a college it was a no-brainer for me to come back at CCD. I’ve had the privilege of learning from exceptional professors who have helped me refine my interests. Before I came here, I knew I was interested in science but I wasn’t sure how to apply that interest to a career. However, through their guidance, I discovered my passion for academia and research leading me to aspire to become a math teacher myself. The classroom experience has been invaluable not only for the subject matter, but also for the lessons imparted by the instructors. My professors have become my role models shaping my future teaching style. They’ve also equipped me with effective study skills and learning strategies. The instructors here surpass expectations for student support, offering open communication through phone and email and even office hours. The math department even arranges a review session before finals. Further demonstrating CCDs commitment to student success. CCD goes beyond the classroom fostering holistic skills for future success in learning career and personal growth. Our community is dedicated to helping you enhance your communication skills cultivate a lifelong learning mindset and become passionate leaders. After graduating from CCD, my next step is to transfer to a four year university and complete my bachelor’s degree. My ultimate goal is to become an educator teaching and inspiring the next generation of community college students. Back to you, Alex.

– Thank you, Milo. Milo’s story is a testament to the passionate and invaluable guidance of exceptional professors. Milo, we have no doubt that you’ll continue to make a positive impact on the lives of future students. Best of luck from all of us.
